This commercial is about hockey, they are trying to sell a stick. This appeals to ethos because it has a celebrity speaking in it. Since Sidney is such a good hockey player they think that they will be like him because they have his stick. It also uses some pathos because it is humorous and shows that he is a likable guy which makes you want to buy a stick he would use. It doesn't really tell you much about this stick, so it is a lack of logos.
Colors that appeal to it is black showing that he is strong, classy and powerful. These colors mean that to me too because this makes Sidney look really important and that he has lots of power. It uses some buzzwords in this commercial as well. It uses these words because that helps the commercial be persuasive.
This commercial really grabs your attention because it has Crosby in it and because he is trying to be funny so it makes him look like he is a really likable guy. It gives you a feeling that Sid is a nice guy and isn't cocky and is really a good guy. It is really an affective commercial becuase then everyone wants to be like Crosby and have his stick.

ReplyDeleteI think it is an awesome ad. I really like the part where she doesn't have any idea who he is and makes fun of him without intentionally doing it.
