Good afternoon people, today I am going to blog about my trip to Finland. I went over to Finland two summers ago for a IIHF(international ice hockey federation) camp. I got picked for it because it was Manitoba's turn to send a defenseman and somehow they picked me from Manitoba. I flew over there with two other guys from Canada one was from Edmonton and the other one was from Vancouver. When we were over there we played with guys from every other country that plays hockey. I roomed with a guy from Norway his name was Erlund, it was such a cool experience rooming with him. We got split up into eight different teams with guys from different countries, that part was really cool as well. We were there for two weeks playing hockey and touring part of Finland. The flight over there was a neat experience as well because us three players met up in Toronto and then flew together from there, our longest flight was nine hours it felt like forever. This trip was cool because I got to go over there without my parents and it was good for me. Until next time....

Nice blog, maybe show some videos.
ReplyDeleteWhat was your favorite part of camp?
ReplyDeleteI wish I could fly somewhere without parents! Sounds so fun.
ReplyDeleteHow come all your entries weren't this detailed? This is much more informative. What did you get to see in Finland? Do you keep in touch with Erlund? Nine hours is a short flight, really. To NZ we fly 13 to 15 hours. Had I been one of your parents, I think I would have figured out a way to go with you. I would love to go to Finland.
